Is Party Poker accepting US players in 2015? Yes, Party Poker accepts USA citizens but there is a catch. In 2015 PartyPoker.com started accepting Americans for real money play but you must be within the state of New Jersey to play for real money at PartyPoker. A year ago I posted an article about Party Poker accepting USA players and I predicted that Party Poker would indeed be open to U.S. players within a year. I hope all of my other predictions about poker in 2015 are as accurate. Party Poker USA hasn’t had much of an impact on the USA Internet poker market. The USA friendly Party Poker room is found at nj.partypoker.com.
Millions of Americans used to play at Party Poker back before the stopped accepting USA citizens in 2006 but in 2015 only a handful of Americas play at the NJ Party Poker room. The same is true for the other licensed US poker sites. Mediocre software, extremely low traffic, poor promotions & bonuses, incompetent support and slow payouts have plagued every licensed and regulated USA friendly poker room online in 2015 so 99% of Americans continue to play at the top offshore rooms like Bet Online Poker, Carbon Poker and Full Flush Poker. Besides New Jersey, Delaware and Nevada have licensed 2015 USA friendly poker rooms but you have to be in the state to play for cash so it has had little impact.
The first licensed room was Ultimate Poker and their software continues to deal the same card twice per hand every now and then so no one really bothers playing there. Party Poker accepts USA players but until they accept all Americans it will not change anything. Here are the best and fastest paying poker sites accepting USA citizens in 2015:

Does Party Poker Accept USA Players In 2015?
In the first half of 2006, the US poker market was booming with several companies competing for players and many of them playing over the Internet. As a result of the complete ban on Internet poker, many companies decided to withdraw from this otherwise lucrative market and Party Poker was one of them. They’ve made several attempts at returning to the United States and in 2015, the company has established a beachhead in New Jersey.
For the time being, this is the only state where Party Poker operates and it serves all the customers located within state borders. While it is only possible to play against New Jersey opponents, anyone from the Garden State can withdraw funds to their bank account nationwide. The poker room has a geo-location system that can identify with pinpoint accuracy where players are located.
Party Poker USA 2015
This is how they can distinguish between New Jersey residents and those who attempt to play online poker from another state.
Interesting enough, the legislation allows virtually any American player to enjoy their services as long as they located within the state borders. It is unlikely for poker players from neighboring states to travel to New Jersey just to play at Party Poker NJ, with the most probable scenario being that the company will expand beyond borders. The same goes for online casino games, with the poker room having diversified its offer, to include these titles as well.
Regarding the player pool, this is obviously limited to New Jersey residents, but those who go online can expect to see over 1000 players at any time. This means that both cash game and tournament tables are populated and it shouldn’t be difficult to find reasonable limits to compete. Local authorities are contemplating the possibility of launching multistate compacts, with Nevada and Delaware being the other two states where online poker has been regulated.
PartyPoker.com Accepts Americans In 2015
For the time being, Party Poker accepts USA citizens, or some at least, they only serve New Jersey customers, but if it would expand to the aforesaid states or if players from Nevada and Delaware would be allowed to play online, the players pool would grow a lot. American poker players should know that although there are many similarities between BorgataPoker.com and PartyPoker NJ these are not essentially the same. They use identical software, but players need to have a separate account for each website, although the player pool coincides. Party Poker for U.S. players in 2015 is really just 5-10 active tables so unless you live in NJ and you only play microstakes NLH I doubt you should bother signing up.
The software used is the same one that PartyPoker uses worldwide, which is great news since it is generally accepted as a top-notch product. The company had plenty of time to test it and upgrade the platform, so that the demands formulated by the gaming community were incorporated. American players get to choose between a downloadable client or they could play in the browser, not to mention that NJ.PartyPoker.com is available on both IOS and Android powered mobile devices. I will update this post if the USA friendly Party Poker ever expands to other American states.
